Accuracy and sourcing
Factual claims about regulation, safety and responsibilities are attributed to the authority that sets them. Where we give a cost, it is an indicative range, clearly marked as such, and we always recommend written quotes.
Safety
Gas work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Most new electrical circuits and consumer unit work in England are notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations. Work at height needs proper access equipment. Where a job carries these risks we say so.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, tell the help desk and we will review and correct it.
Independence
